Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how SwiftChat (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our website, dashboard, APIs, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly (account, billing, profile), information your end-customers send via WhatsApp through our Service, and operational data necessary to run the Service (logs, usage metrics, device/browser metadata).
2. How we use it
We use information to provide the Service, send required transactional notifications, bill, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve features in aggregate. We do not sell personal information.
3. Lawful bases (GDPR)
We process personal data on the lawful bases of contract performance, legitimate interest, consent, and legal obligation, depending on context. See our DPA for Article 28 controller/processor terms.
4. Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors necessary to operate the Service. The current list is published at /security. Any change is announced with 30 days notice.
5. Retention
Conversation data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. Audit logs follow your plan's retention (30 days / 1 year / 3 years). Backups expire at 365 days.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection rights apply. Submit a request via Settings → Privacy or via our EU representative at Prighter.
7. International transfers
Workspaces in the EU/IN regions are processed in those regions. Cross-region transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
